We’re three friends who share a passion for snow sports and have been making annual ski trips to the Rockies for the better part of a decade. After a fun day on the slopes in February 2021, we went back to the cabin and looked for a refreshing, upbeat game to play. We searched for awhile, but couldn’t find any games to get excited about. A couple hours in the hot tub, a few drinks, and 69 dirty jokes later, the idea for CockBlock’d was born.

When we started designing the game, we wanted it to feel nostalgic but also relevant. We took inspiration from different chapters of our lives: everything from 90s video games, current day emoji culture, and adult party themes. In terms of gameplay, we wanted it to be easy to play, quick rounds, high energy, and lighthearted - we wanted it to be a party game, something that would bring out parts of people that you wouldn’t see otherwise.

While we acknowledge that some of the content is considered taboo, ultimately, we aspire to challenge that notion while promoting sex-positivity. We hope CockBlock’d helps bring people together, break down barriers, lighten the mood, and create plenty of laughter among your friends and family (even Grandma).
